Dr. Resek was born and raised right here in Illinois. In fact, she grew up less than an hour from our office! She joined our team in 2021 and has since thoroughly enjoyed interacting with each patient and making their visit as stress-free as possible. While the dental office may not be your favorite place to be, she goes the extra mile to make your experience relaxing and fun. After all, nothing makes her happier than a smiling patient!
From a young age, Dr. Resek had an interest in science and working with her hands. However, it wasn’t until she had braces that she found her love for the dental industry. Her orthodontic treatment spanned seven years, so she spent quite a bit of time at the practice. Now, she looks back and has nothing but positive memories – it’s what sparked her interest in dentistry, after all! Dr. Resek volunteered at a non-profit clinic in college and that cemented her choice to pursue dentistry as a career. She organized a life-changing mission trip to West Africa volunteering with a dentist in Ghana. She continues to be inspired to make a positive impact on people’s lives through exceptional dental care. For her, dentistry isn’t just about treatment; it is the personal connections with patients that she values most.
Dr. Resek’s journey to becoming an exceptional dentist began at the University of Illinois. From there, she attended the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, gaining experience in both traditional and digital dentistry. Graduating magna cum laude, she was nominated by her professors to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society. Since the field of dentistry is always changing, Dr. Resek pursues continuing education regularly. As a result, she is certified in Invisalign, Zoom! Whitening, and BLS. She is also an active member of the following organizations:
Congratulations are in order since Dr. Resek and her husband, Eric, got married in 2021! They have been together for more than 10 years and have two adopted cats. As a family, they enjoy cheering on Chicago sports teams, traveling, and taking international mission trips to serve communities in need. I had a baby in March 2024, Hayden Robert Kordas, and we love to go on walks and have fun at the lake.
